Well it is New York so it actually began a long time ago. It's sad they actually think this is going to reduce crime. I feel bad for the law-abiding citizens of New York and my prayers go out to them. I wonder if they are going to make every gun owner register with the local newspaper too?

They were calling for a7 round limit on all magazines. They don't even make 7 round mags for many weapons. the stupidity some of these laws is mind boggling apparently removing 2 bullets from a 10 round mag is somehow going to save lives.

NO sense at all, they can still have 10 rd mags but can only put 7 rds in it???? makes your head spin....

Well, it will need amendments, that's for sure. They didn't have an exception for police or military.

I hope this is taken to the Supreme and found to be unconstitutional.
