It is indifference mixed with demoralization by teachers, poiliticians, and special interests.

It was only a matter of time before people who were meant to exist for the good of the nation found out the could benefit personally from it and they felt they were getting the short end of the stick.

Teachers and professors use their positions to mold the minds of the youth and have the backing of politicians who, in turn, have the backing of special interest groups who promise to keep them in power if they legislate in favor of said special interests.

Being a politician nowadays is all about staying in power or increasing it. It never goes the other way unless they severely screw up, but many of them can always depend on the sympathetic media to drown out the voices of the people who question them.

It was the long term strategy of the ultra-leftists to gain control of the education system, and they did so in spades...

Very much so. It is the minds of kids which is malleable. If you go after the young minds of children you plant the seed. This is why Teacher's Unions try to maintain such a tight grasp over all education with one hand while they hand cash to the Democrats with the other. (And no this isn't a right wing rant. It is known that the majority of political controbutions by teachers unions is funneled towards the dems)

They bad mouth Private schools, which produce kids who outperform theirs. They bad mouth Charter Schools, which produce kids who outperform theirs. And they badmouth homeschooling, which produces kids who outperform theirs. They don't believe in performance based pay and they are protected by tenure which any sane person would call criminal.

The entire time they take billions of taxpayer dollars to teach leftist ideologies and pay that taxpayer money (by way of dues) back to their leftist political allies. This isn't unknown, but it is praised as being "For the children".

So you can't mention Jesus in schools without facing a potential lawsuit, but you can preach gay appreciation without fear of reprisal lest your freedom of speech be violated. You can teach of the greatness of America, but demonize its past actions as imperialist, racist, loaded with dirty laundry.

I have said it before and am not going to stop saying it... This is indoctrination, not education. You rally to stop the teaching of our founding documents and hide behind the excuse of "Free thought" but what you are really afraid of is exposing to the youth of America to the truth that your political puppet masters have been robbing them of their God given rights... Oops... Did I say "God"? Oh well f*ckin sue me.

In The Federalist Papers #28, non other than Alexander Hamilton gave us the remedy when things like this occur. WE'RE SUPPOSED TO KILL THEM. When we can't remedy the situation with debate and ballots, WE'RE SUPPOSED TO KILL THEM. Not my words, Mr. Hamilton's. I just happen to agreee with the man.
