Soliders steal mags and resell

becareful were you buy your US GI mags, seems the soliders are getting in on the act,
a few years back non-surplus GI night vision stuff was being sold on e-bay and other sites, the FBI tracked down most of the stolen equiptment and charged the soliders and in some cases the buyers

798 magazines is a large number to come up missing from an armory! These guys are idiots! I see many military mags for sell on ebay, at gun shows, and other places on the net. If you are concerned about one you are looking at, take a peek at the markings on the base plate. All mags I've used since being active duty are made by Okay Industries, and have green followers.

Nothing new, soldiers of all armies have been stealing all kinds of stuff and selling it both here and overseas for years.

Wow... It's like the Marine who got busted hard for taking spent brass from the ACP on Pendleton and selling it to reloaders. I think he made in the neighborhood of $70,000 before he got busted in a big way. I understand if it was issued to keep and you sell it to surplus stores when your service is over but straight taking stuff to sell is a definite buddy f*cking.

yep it is like the UK, there is a film of a gang banger with a sa-80 full auto bull pup stolen right out of the UK arsenal.

it seems the criminal type never has much problem coming up with whatever he wants.

it it just the people who try to obey the law that are affected.
Obamma and his gun/mag and so on bans are just creating a new 'black market" for gangs and drug cartels to exploit.

the drug cartels might find a new and profitable sideline bringing AKs and their mags & ammo in in every other shipment.

If the semi auto ban becomes a reality, organized crime will take control of this entire segment of the firearms industry. These firearms will be unlicensed, untaxed, and uncontrolled.

The same sort of thing happened during prohibition. The mafia gained money enough money and influence to buy politicians and government officials at will. Those that do learn from history are doomed to repeat it.
