I went in at 6'4", 195lbs, left at 175ish.

All the fat boys end up road guard during PT.

they should give you a list of exactly what to bring, nothing more, nothing less.

do exactly as you are told, stay motivated, always remember if the clown next to you can do it, you can too. always try harder than the next person.

about week 3 you may wake up one morning and think "WTF am I doing here, I want my mommy", it will pass in a day or so.

DINKYDOW-I was just thinking that R.Lee Ermy was the best representation of a D.I. I have ever seen on film. Wasnt he a drill sergent in the Corps? I heard he was hired to consult and when the original actor couldnt get it right they hired him to play the part. Fuhckliberals, they will talk to you the same way, dont take it personal, they want to weed out the psycos and break the hotheads.

Where was that on the LES ? I had major surgery while in .Note to self.. NEVER , EVER try to fight 6 guys by yourself! Anyhow, I was never charged for any medical / dental procedures. When I lived off base -married I got an allowance for that. They gave a Uniform allowance every year as well. What in the world was going on with the Corps? NC redleg

R. Lee was a DI in the corp for like 20 years.

He played a DI in Boys from company C (Head DI in one scene but not the main DI in the movie) and Full Metal Jacket (main DI).

Yes he was a DI in the Corp, but IIRC he was only in for 12-14 years and was medically discharged as a SSG and was later made an honorary Gunny Sgt.

What other movies did he play in?
