The part that all Christain Congress voted for and made it law to be placed there.

I relize that many say that by using just GOD that it leaves us free to chose are own GOD. I dont buy it. right or wrong you got a group of people from prodomintly one religion telling other in what they trust in. It says to me that those who do not belive in a God are not as worthy as those who do in the eyes of our goverment.

I really dont have a problem with it being there as I am religious but I also understand why others dont want it there. Suspose Obama AKA

decided we wanted to change the name from GOD to Allah or what ever he believes. we would not go for it but some how congress decided what we need to believe in. I find it interesting that Mcarthyism was rampent about the same time the pledge and the cash was changed.

history is full of civilations were rulers changed who there subject were forced to worship.

trust me at some point they will try to put Obamas face on the US currancy. a better place to start would be putting it on food stamps more people would see it.

Funny how often DD goes that route, but your welcome to your opinion. I believe that DD trolls a hell of a lot, and has for as long as I remember him... your mileage might vary. IT seems to me that it was a long stretch from that AK said to the flame fest that DD started ... of course that might be because I have seen DD in action to many times before. Carry on ... I am sure you have something more to add.

While i wasn't "hunting" per se, i will admit that i was the originator of the initial inflammatory statement in response to Freedom's post. Though i wasn't speaking of anyone in the thread more of the people that i know IRL that i have had the same discussion/arguement with.

At any rate, sorry for sending this thread in the direction of name calling.
