I just picked up a bunch of more stuff while I still have a job. Who's to really say what prices or availability will be next month?

If OBAMA gets in again, we will be unable to get anything.

Imagine a .308 round going for $5/ea maybe? TAX and registration FEE included?

i think this pretty much sums up the economy as a whole.

people that still have a job and a little cash are buying what they can cause they know the prices will be higher and they may not have the chance to get anything in the future.

if mitt goes in the prices will just slow down--but the inflation will still be there.

I get brass cased when I can but find that .223 and 7.62x39 Wolf and 7.62x39 Golden Tiger work just as good and never had a problem. Now that milsurp 7,62x51 NATO has all but disappeared I am using steel cased Russian Wolf with no problem either. In fact the low priced steel cased seems to be just as good if not better than Commercial. Keeping the brass cased milsurp and commercial socked away and just shooting cheaper Russian steel cased now.

I have been seeing some good prices on 5.45, but since I started making my own cases I am going to pass, since I have tons of brass I am going to pass on other calibers also
there are few calibers I have been buying cause I have been short and don't have the dies for
example: I just got a cylinder conversion for 45 long colt for my 1860 army colt percussion, best of both worlds. so I am getting ammo for that which can be used in my Martini henry with its chamber 45 long colt adapter

since the prostate treatment beer is out except for now and then

whether mitt wins or not the price is not coming down
Sprat and sprat1 are one and the same.

Another reason I stay with a lot of pistol stuff is that it stays real good quality for price. Especially 9mm for me. Good current production and solid new fabbing up dates.

I know a few distributors I use for ammo say they don't carry Golden Bear any more because of "issues with it" ,, I've never had any, other than the golden bear having ,,a bit of a dirty burning powder that fowls the AR platforms pretty fast. Otherwise I haven't experianced anything abnormal, you guys?

Anybody know what these issue's are that there rerffering to?? I don't have a clue and have been wondering. Not that there's much on stock any where's,, but,, just wondering?????

Folks, pick up your ammo while the getting is still kind of good.

A few things are fixing to get changed in the next two weeks.

yea i have seen that on the net too. there may have been some issues with the "bear" ammo at some time. my guess is it was limited to a few batches.

i have shot thousands of rounds of silver, gold and brown in 223 and 7.62x39 over the years --can't say i have seen any problems to speak of . can't even tell if it is dirtyer than USGI m193 ball powder rounds.

i have had some problems with tula 223 55gr ammo. some very bad powder in one batch.

so far the 75gr 223 and 45acp tula do well enough but are a bit dirty and spotty on accuracy.

i will buy more tula --but it has to be at a rock bottom price--

    a case in point --

    ammo-man has wolf 55gr 223 for $0.36 a round delivered price.

now yesterday i bought a batch or hornady 75gr 223 steel match for $0.39 delivered--yea i used all the discounts codes and so on--

but i have got this same ammo for $0.33 delivered from another place that is now OOS--at least before the last panic.

so which is going up the fastest --imported ammo or domestic? to me it looks like their about to overlap in price--at least to some extent.
