Waiting to have a weekend off that they are having the class. Working seven days a week stinks. On the high note my wife is thinking about getting hers.

In Oklahoma it is unlawful for any establishment that is not run by the Government to keep you from keeping in your vehicle a loaded weapon for the purpose of concealed carry. We're almost as good as Texas when it comes to that.

Oklahoma Self Defense Act:

Title 21 $ 1290.22 Sub-Part B

No person, property owner, tenant, employer, or business entity shall be permitted to establish any policy or rule that has the effect of prohibiting any person, except a convicted felon, from transporting and storing firearms in a locked vehicle on any property set aside for any vehicle.

Food for thought, if you have a CWP and your work deals with hazardous materials, explosives, etc., you will find your self not able to have a firearm on company property as the Florida law exempts these businesses. Disney World, chemical plants, etc. come to mind...

I got mine this year too, It's part of my short timers list for 2012 - Politics also plays into it
The gasoline dip will be only temporary. I bought a watermelon the size of a volleyball and
it cost $5.99 It scares me to shop with the wife any more being retired. I have an intuition
that we might need a C/W Lic. to buy ammo in the future. How far out from the present I
don't know. I hope I'm wrong.

well, i discovered a little advertised codicil about the virginia ccw permit.
virginians that hold one are EXEMPT from the 'one handgun per month" law.
not that i can afford that, but still neat.
