SHOULD AMERICA BRING THE TROOPS HOME?

In talking to every Soldier I could at the airports. Too a man and woman, they claimed they were getting more and more restricted as to the rules of engagement.
God forbid they hurt an innocent civilian.
One young trooper even told me there was talk of Americans getting tried in the Iraq court system, for anything considered out of bounds, as too the rules set by our Guberment.
Military rumor? Fact? I do not know.
But some youngguns I talked too were on there 4th and 5th tour.
The last Soldier I talked with was there so long, he felt like America was a foreign time warp zone for the poor kid.
Talk about the thousand mile stare, plus 10.
You be the judge.
What say you?

Time to pull back and regroup.There's a world of hurt coming to America.We need our boys home to protect there familys.Bigger is not always better.

The ROE's suck. Practically can't fight until they stuff an AK-47 up your ass and pull the trigger from what it sounds like. Nuking the place won't make it much worse to be honest.

I think that until we are willing to go over there and play using the same rule book as our enemy, we should pull out. Take the gloves off, and its a whole 'nother ball game.

we had far more "liberal" ROE in my days over there. then we do today.

i think the brass hats and the politicos want the armed forces to act like a police force rather than a combat arm.

the enemy though does as they please.

It's tough when the power brokers over there are war lards and drug dealers. The biggest problem I see is Pakistan is not reining in there revolutionarys and Iran. Our troops are not police, if they can do there job - theres no stopping them from winning any war.

Why do we have to be the world's POLICE FORCE? What if we need them folks to take care of us soon?

If they are not allowed to do the job they are there for, BRING THEM HOME!!!!

our guys and gals are beat-spread too thin
they cant be proficient when there so tired and limited to how they can do there job
i say get our asses out of dodge and let them make parking lots outa each other!!
im sure we can keep tabs without wearing ourselves out

ROE were pretty good when I was in over there but the horror stories i hear now

If were going to fight we need to fight to win and except nothing but complete victory. If we are not going to do that it is a injustice to all who are there now, once again the American Troops are getting shit on
