Frogman-thank you for your well thought out,rational assesment of the situation-it is nice to see that here,maybe even if some of these countries can't get along,at least WE can.Unity among like-minded folks will be needed in the coming times.There was a poll on this subject here,I didn't think anything major would come of this particular conflict [Iran],but the most recent actions have changed my mind.It is sad to see this happen between us,at one time Iran was one of the most western styled countries in the area,and had brung itself into the modern world.There were lots of problems also,but progress was being made.Since the fall of the Shah,it has regressed hundreds of years socially,while retaining the technology of today.Iran is also much differant geograhpicaly than Iraq,a ground war there is definately going to be difficult and is best left alone.As for bombing it into a parking lot-who could afford the gas to get there?Perhaps bombing it into something useful like a site for lunar training.... ---bil
