If all the 'american' products are made in China and Mexico then how will US economy grow? Only the owners of those corporations will make money and not ordinary people.
Beauty of the hard core right wing capitalism. Do you realy think that another republican will not run you out of business just because you are member of NRA? Someone does better service than you did so thats why you lost your business not because of big O. And colledge is not for everyone, somebody still has to clean the floor of that walmart.

I have an idea.
Lets print 40 billion paper dollars per month, with no backing whatsoever, and buy a whole bunch of bad debt with it. We are talking securities and derivatives here.
And if we call it QE3 all the trendies will like the way it sounds and support it as a good idea.
By the time we are finished we will own every piece of American land, ever titled or deeded.

Germany is not as it used to be back in 80s, they had to spend lots of money to fix eastern part, then with the EURO union scam they had to pay southern euro bums their debt.
Germany can pull out of euro today and their deutche mark would be so powerfull it would pass dollar easy. But the rich elite does not want that, they want free euro trade so that they can sell their junk around without paying any trade or import taxes.
Look at Switzerland, their frank is so strong, they are printing it and giving it out to immigrants just to devalue the frank, it sounds stupid to do that, but you know the elite people's tricks, they don't care about their people, they only care about their profits.

I just moved back from Germany last year. Germany does have a strong economy (compared to other EU nations). There has been discussion about going back to the Deutsche mark even when I was there. There are areas of Germany that aren't doing as well as others. Some areas have more immigrants than others, where I was at it wasn't as bad for immigrants as the larger cities in Germany. Taxes are outrageous in Germany (like most European countries). I could go on and on, but you get the point.
BTW, when were you in Germany last, and what part? I lived in the Rheinland Pfalz region.

Tanvil you are right the fed is buying foreclosed mortgages with money numbers put in a computer. The foreclosed property mortgage has some value, bought with nothing but numbers.

'87-'93 Munchen
So I don't know how worse the things got after 93. Deutche mark was main currency in Europe, it was very stable because of the manufacturing backbone of FRG. There is a reason why the 'elite' wanted to devalue the mark, because it can't get too strong then german good would be very expensive to buy. So they just gave out the welfare to all the immigrants from the worst places of the world just pure unproductive untermenschen worse than americans, and just went south from there.
You got to have strong manufacturing jobs to grow the GDP. Just look at what happened to Detroit

I'm better off now than I was 4 years ago; inspite of the chief chimp. I had burnt my mortgages long before that POS ever showed up. I've been buying other peoples' 'toys' and everything I have has the matching 'pink-slip' in my pocket. I live in S.W. Florida and most of what we eat is wild and natural. The only problem I have is replacing that $120/1000 .308 stuff I was buying back in the day.
Daddy always said it was better to be lucky than be good. I've been lucky.
