Cold Steel sells junk

Ordered a PPS43 blueprint & bracket from them in early Jan.
Finally got it in mid Feb. The blueprint is a copy of a copy of a
copy. Unreadable. The bracket is just a crap piece of metal.
What a rip off. Buy at your own risk.

I never, every had a problem with Cold Steel. Did you talk to CS?

And you were expecting...a finished receiver?...Dude, He sells BLANKS!....A lot of blood, sweat and tears go into that hunk of steel before it's a working firearm. However, when you finish your project, it will mean that much more to you, having done it yourself.

No kidding I still working on my cold Steel Blank, build a AK 8mm, take 3 days , 3 builders( me , big AL , 555th) , we only got mag open, bolt fit, trunnion riveted , dude, it's a lot blood, sweat plus 4 case beers and 1 case root beer, we still ain't there yet
Coldsteel blank is not for starter Ak builder, and remember what you pay is what you get .

agree with bluejack.......... coldsteel is fine for certain things. he has some very good parts. but eveidently you just needed a different vendor for the project your doing.

can point you to another vendor for the 43 blank if you want but i make no guarantees on if its better or not, cause i dont know what your expecting.

The RPK blank I got from Coldsteel looked great.
The print wasn't the greatest but it worked.
I'm just waiting for the weather to warm-up, to do some bluing outside.
Then I can put this thing together, it looks fantastic.
I can't wait to put a few rounds through it.

Coldsteel isn't perfect but its functional and he's relyable.. even if it takes a month.
