Default Is this a decent deal?

Used Century CETME Sporter, barrel looks pretty good for a used rifle. Comes with two mags, and has a neat camo pattern on the furniture...

At a local pawn shop for $590 and some change...

Any input is appreciated...

Yep, if you can get it for around $450-475 that would be a good deal for a cherry one.

There's a reason why there cheap, a lot of them have problems. You can find quit a bit on GB for $450 and under. I was gonna pick one up, but I'm not really a big fan of them looking/feeling like sheet metal.

Mine runs great, it's just too expensive to shoot a lot of .308. The only real issue I have with mine is that it will only take CETME mags; some will take the inexpensive '91 mags as well.

And yet here you are on a predominantly AK message board....

P.s. HOLY WRONG SECTION, BATMAN!!! Can a mod move this to 'General Firearms' or 'Battle Rifles,' please? Totally didn't realize until now. :\

Thanks,

Not all ak's are stamped. I'm also a member of 5 other gun forums that have nothing to do w/ ak's. I just don't like the feel of them, since they seem to be stamped from the receiver, on through the cocking tube.
