Polish AK

I bought a Polish AK underfolder kit. I ordered two receiver flats to build a rifle. The problem is I want to keep it as original as possible and I see the polish rifle has the safety on the left and the rest of the kits have it on the right. Can I build it original and still have it engage a U.S. made semi auto sear? I bought the second flat to turn upside down and use as a template for the keyhole in the other flat.

Huh? None of my polish underfolder kits have a safety on the left. They are all on the right.

that would be a burst selector on the left, and yes you can modify the receiver to accept the selector.

Sidefolder Tantal, yes. An underfolder Tantal??? Sounds like some one put both of their kits in one box!

Thanks for your help! I have never seen a Polish AK receiver and got not one piece in my kit.I read about the left hand selector at ak-47.us/polish. On rereading it I see the paragraph was on the Tantal not the AK. Sorry about that.
The delay has helped me find flats already stamped for the polish underfolder.Now waiting to order my bending jig.
