Wolfsburg Bob @ Akron Armory?
What the hell ever happened to this guy? Just seems as if he fell off the face of the earth. His webpage is still up, but with nothing for sale. I know he sold tons of kits to lots of us on all the big gunboards. I know that Bob had a falling out with ORF a long time ago, but never actually heard what the outcome was. Today I came across a link on the front of Ohio Rapid Fires website that says he filed bankruptcy and won't be paying back almost 40k worth of merchandise. Is what I'm reading true, or is there two sides to this story? ORF posted the info. on the front page under the hot link "Bob Williams". There is photocopied pages of the courtorders as well. If this information is true and he really screwed one of the vendors here, then shame on him. These are the types of people that make it hard for vendors like ORF to stay in business! Maybe this is old news that I missed.

Yup
Although I don't know how you could have, there were lengthy threads regarding it on most of the gun forums.
Most of them were shutdown after things turned ugly. At least that's what happened here and the bunker.
I have no ill will towards Bob, all of my dealings with him were positive. I hope he is able to reorganize and make a come back.
PS I will not hesitate to pull the plug on this one too, if it goes the way of the last one.

Must be something like pulling a 'Brittney'
Shave your head, add a couple of new tatoos, leave your panties at home and go directly to rehab and again

Doesn't sound like people are talking much these days. Will this be the first time on Gunco that people won't talk about an issue that has happened? Well, in the threads I missed a while back, was there two sides to the story?

I've always had good dealings with Bob. No matter what the "problem" is with ORF I'd still buy from him in a heartbeat.....
Hey Bob, Got any Makarov's laying around?

Josh -- the problem earlier was that one, perhaps two, people with slow minds and fast fingers sensed a bloody dog fight and did every thing they could to egg it on.
It wasn't only this site that muffled the "lets you and him fight" half wit.
