MY FIRST BUCK
I took my first buck on saturday 24th nov. 8 pointer 15 in. spread, 150 lbs (dressed) 2 1/2 - 3 1/2 year old (est.) shot with a RUGER M77 .308 (international stock) at around 10-12 yards i'd guess,neck/lung shot. taken in beautiful upper michigan in a little town called McFarland, at my dads camp. i sat friday night and passed a 4-5 inch spike, missed the mornin hunt (few to many the night befor), then my girlfriends 7 year old brother (who is addicted to hunting ) came out with me for the night hunt. got out there around 3:30 and finnaly settaled in ,then around 4:10 her brother was talking and i was telling him to be quiet he starts saying BIG BUCK,BIG BUCK! then after a few minutes of trying to get the gun up (he was watching the blind the whole time) i found him in the scope and droped him. the whole time her brother was just FREAKING beacuse he couldn't handel the suspense of it.....i didn't have time to get exited or shakey or anything cause i was laughing my ass off watching him.....i said if i would have been filming the hunt i would have put the camera on him instead. it was a ton of fun now i'm hooked.....i also think the whole taking a kid hunting is a awsome idea that was the biggest smile i've ever seen on his face.i know it ain't the biggest but for my first i'm very happy with it and i'm head mounting it.........

sweet! Nice first buck. Are you processing it yourself or having a processor cut and package it?
