I love eating Crappie, I stocked 150 of 'em in my pond last year, there should be a few of them on my table this fall!!

I might hit the Dam up river on the Ky side in March when the Strippers make there run.

I would need to chop a hole through the ice to catch crappie right now. C'mon spring!

I'd need to chop a 3 or 4 foot hole. At least it wouldn't be the 6-8 foot hole of my youth! Some winters we spent more time keeping the hole open than we did fishing.

I'm an old iceholer ;)

When I was a kid I loved crappie and bluegills, I'd catch a stringer and my poor mother would cook 'em for me.
