Catchin em like crazy. Oh yeah. Fine eatin fish they are.
Catchin em off my dock with minnows and yellow twister tails. Light tackle. 6lb. test.
Oh yeah. They be hitten.
Get the fryin pan ready.

I love eating Crappie, I stocked 150 of 'em in my pond last year, there should be a few of them on my table this fall!!

I'd need to chop a 3 or 4 foot hole. At least it wouldn't be the 6-8 foot hole of my youth! Some winters we spent more time keeping the hole open than we did fishing.

When I was a kid I loved crappie and bluegills, I'd catch a stringer and my poor mother would cook 'em for me.
