Texas best kept secret

To my knowledge Stillhouse Hollow lake is one of the best kept secrets for fishing and camping. It has several small to medium size parks around it and the fishing is GREAT. There have been several 10+ pound Bass and catfish taken from there and the Crappie are more than abundant. Another lake close by is Belton Lake which borders on Fort Hood Texas. Lake access is easy and more than enoughplaces to camp and fish. I personally have never come home empty handed when I went to either place.

The Saint Johns river I live on is over fished. There trying to clean it up and it is helping somewhat.
