Default Does this look like a SVT sling?

While looking for a sling for my RPD I came across this picture of a RPD with a sling, does it look like a SVT style sling?

I also found a store selling a sling listed as a RPD sling with SVT photos and these words...

"RPD Light Machine Gun sling, unissued. Works GREAT on SVT-40 Rifles"

As its just for show, as long as it sits right and look ok I don't really mind but it would be nice to have the right item on it. The only reason I ask is the leather straps wouldn't of been my first thought what with the shear weight of the RPD.

Any views welcome

I've placed this in the battle rifles section as its more a question about the sling which I think is a SVT part.

Looking at the pics on this site, it looks like the RPD sling should have metal on the ends?

I don't know if this will help since your across the pond, but they have the slings listed.

I agree with Coils that the RPD slings I've seen advertised all have the metal tabs on the ends. Kind of like a G3 sling end. Not sure what that sling would be.
