They speak french in many African countries. The Ivory coast true name is Côte d'Ivoire.
Been there, they really do pack AKs around. It is not a good place to be, EVER.

Yeah, but can you imagine the ammo shortage if everyone had one?

Actually Congo was a colony of Belgium. But the news reports could be from Cote D'ivory ( former french Ivory Coast )

STG, yes and they could have been Bulgarian milled with the money our Gov. wastes. Their should be no ammo shortage as many millions of rounds sit in WARSAW pact countries, many waiting to be disposed of by UN treaties.
