OOPS!!! I can see that happening in real life.

Looks like that would happen. Trying to teach my dad how to use a new cell phone is like trying to teach a monkey how to do math. Eventually he figures out how to make phone calss and that's all he does with it.

My Dad just turned 89. We gave him an iPad for his birthday.

It took almost 6 months of his Grandkids, Nieces, Nephews, etc. of tutoring him, but he finally now understands how to download porn. Whew! Mission accomplished.

Seriously, it did take 6 months. It took drawing pictures, it took long drawn out explanations, it took a lot of hair being torn out. But Dad can send and receive e-mails, surf the web, and order stuff when he feels the need to have something. He suffers from all of the normal stuff an 89 year old man suffers from, but; he is sharper now than he was. So, I am all for iPads for seniors.
