Default God bless the 2nd and those who uphold it...

So an undercover cop got a little out of line and threatened a family because of a road rage incident. Without identifying himself as an officer, he pulled a gun, without reason, and was hit three times from three shots fired by a legal card posessing, concealed carrying citizen.

just had to come back and lighten it up a bit with a joke that my great Aunt sent me.

Subject: Road rage

The best road rage story ever...

An honest man was being tailgated by a stressed-out woman on a busy boulevard. Suddenly, the light turned yellow, just in front of him.

He did the right thing, stopping at the crosswalk, even though he could have beaten the red light by accelerating through the intersection.

The tailgating woman hit the roof--and the horn--screaming in frustration as she missed her chance to get through the intersection.

As she was still in mid-rant, she heard a tap on her window and looked up into the face of a very serious police officer.

The officer ordered her to exit her car with her hands up.

He took her to the police station where she was searched, finger printed, photographed and placed in a holding cell.

After a couple of hours, a policeman approached the cell and opened the door. She was escorted back to the booking desk where the arresting officer was waiting with her personal effects.

He said, "I'm very sorry for this mistake. You see, I pulled up behind your car while you were blowing your horn, flipping off the guy in front of you, and cussing a blue streak at him.

I noticed the 'Choose Life' license plate holder, the 'What Would Jesus Do' bumper sticker, the 'Follow Me to Sunday School' bumper sticker, and the chrome-plated Christian fish emblem on the trunk.

Naturally, I assumed you had stolen the car."

Priceless!

Nice one 762.

That cop got what he deserved, his biggest mistake was drawing his weapon and not identifying himself as an officer. I think I would have done the same thing.

Well.........Either way, drawing his weapon on a woman & child because someone gave him the finger would have got him in trouble with the department. He's just one of the few tough guy cops who thought he could do whatever the hell he wanted. My fear would be that the shooter has not heard the last from this jack ass. I doubt this story is over.
This is why many folks say if your going to shoot someone........finish the job, so they don't come back for you later. He needs to be sued BIG TIME.

The police officer & the department that employs him. For the mental distress to the shooter, woman and two toddlers. They will for the rest of their lives fear all police officers & possible retribution from this one. The guy is obviously a loose cannon.

This story pisses me off, law enforcement needs to be smart and in control. The last thing I ever want to do is be forced to use my concealed weapon for any reason, especially in defense of my family. I would be very upset to find I had shot a LEO, we are all supposed to be the good guys. (I am assuming that 99% of you on this board are the good guys). This undercover cop needs to have his ass handed to him by the legal system. He broke rules of engagement big time.
