Suzuki TL1000R. a real vtwin. i eat harley's in first gear and crap'em out 2nd thru 6th.

Thats the stuff. My buddy has had a couple of RC51's over the years. Talk about torque. I prefer the inline 4's myself but wouldn't mind a twin someday.

Best part about Hondas are their price and reliability........

Picked this one up for 80 bucks; started on the first few kicks!! However, it ran like shit and needed a good thorough carb adjustment, along with cleaning and a few misc. cheap parts...




And since it ran for so cheap, I figured I'd make it look a bit better:





Since Honda in '78 couldn't figure out how to make a decent-looking bike, I had to do it myself; hardtail, one-up custom seat pan, a bit of tank work to come, and a shitload of structural and mounting purposes frame mods...

Also, once-fired .50bmg brass for the foot pegs/forward controls...

I love my Honda! :S

P.s. Straight off the headers (since it likes back-pressure), it sounds 10 times badder than a Harley; Loud as fuck, with a really slow thump!
