An Irish Toast

Mr O'Brien is down at the pub and they are have a toasting contest. He offers up the toast; " May I spend the rest of my life between the legs of my wife." and wins the contest.

When he gets home to his wife he mentions that he won the toasting contest at the pub. His wife asks him what the toast was and he pauses to think before replying; "May I spend the rest of my life in church with my wife." "Thats nice Dear" states his wife.

The next day the wife runs into one the husband's drinking buddies at the market who asks if she had heard that her husband had won the toasting contest. "Yes I heard" she replied, "But I thought it was a little strange because he has only been there twice in the last year and I had to pull his ear to come the last time."
