THE NAMING OF CANADA
WAY BACK WHEN CANADA WAS FORMED , BEFORE THEY HAD BEEN NAMED, THE FIRST CITIES MAYOR DECIDED TO TRY AND COME UP WITH A NAME FOR THE NEW COUNTRY. HE DECIDED THE TOWNS PEOPLE SHOULD HAVE A PART. SO THEY DECIDED THAT THE BEST WAY WOULD BE TO PUT ALL THE LETTERS OF THE ALPHABET INTO A HAT, AND THE TOWNSFOLK WOULD DRAW A LETTER OUT, THE MAYOR STOOD UP ON STAGE WITH THE HAT AND HAD THE FIRST PERSON COME UP AND DRAW, HE READ IT "C EH", THE NEXT PERSON DREW AND IT WAS READ "N EH" THEN A THIRD "D EH" THE TOWNS FOLK THOUGHT IT WAS IT, AND SO IT STAYED.

Never let the truth get into the way of a good tale.

once again the opossum pic is funnier.

If you wish to keep your Canuck friends DO NOT tell them this joke. Its old as the hills and most Canadians outside of Ontario don't follow every sentence with EH.
I am a Canuck (dual actually), so I can say the "C" word with impunity - hah! |
