Default 2012 survival items

Not that I put faith into the Mayan calendar, however, its getting alot of press. What are the TOP TEN items that you would consider as a "MUST"
if things do go south?
Here is my top ten proof list (in no specific order)

drinking water
Canned goods(food)
Multi purpose knife
ammo/weapons
fuel
tent/shelter
lighters/waterproof matches
chlorine bleach/water tablets/water purification
clothes(suited for weather)
*tradeable items(if applicable)
AM/FM/NOAA/2 way radio w/batteries
*vocation/trade skill

ok, so its more like 12 , but you get my point. My vocation is auto repair, fill in the blank for yours.what did I leave out? What would you have at your house in preparation of the End of Days?

If it was going to be the end of days then a good torch, plenty of toilet paper and ample supply of tea, sugar and milk. Comfy chair to sit back and keep and eye on the news. If it turned out that things were really looking bad, then it would be time to pack up the tea, sugar and milk. Chuck a deck chair in the car kind of quickly like, and head for the hills. Not forgetting the toilet roll, I know we could use tissues but come on guys, it wouldn't be right. Now if the hairy hand of god was to shine up on us, we might well be back in our homes by tea time, if not supper time the latest, just in time to put a quick brew on, check the news and get a good night sleep. So I would certainly add toilet roll, tea, sugar, milk and a deck chair to the list.

some form of entertainment would be nice too like if you could grab a deck of cards on your way out.

I am going to wait for FEMA to take care of me and my family. LOL

Sounds somewhat like a bug out list so I would think a reliable 4x4 would be high on the list.

If for at home the list could be endless I guess.
Hand tools
Lumber/nails
Any foreseeable needed medicine

One thing you missed, a GPS to find your cashed items and a way to navigate around bad areas.

Standing off many crazies in the setting of a big city.

Is this even possible?

Making a run for it when the alarm has already sounded will be pointless.

Leaving so much behind you would NEVER be able to carry away is horrible!

Having your wits about you to do the right thing(S) in the situation is of the greatest importance.
