After Armageddon
From the History Channel
|
|||||
Watched this when it originally aired on History. Pretty accurate portrayal of what could happen, imo. A little light on the fact of roving armed gangs raping and pillaging through the countryside (in this it theorizes they will pretty much stay in the city, even after resources are depleted) but it does cover it to enough effect. Does a good job of showing primary survival first, organized survival of who's left second.

This little YUPPIE family with their spoiled teenage SON were ill prepared! They did not even have a gun in the house. So many resources around and they just sat there whining. We all know what is coming soon here. And, we have and are still getting ready.

Usually when this type of program airs, it is because the government is putting things in place for this to happen. They are most likely getting ready to release a man made super bug or biological weapon on the world to reduce the world population. The Elite already have the antivirus and medications to keep them from being affected. Their goal is to reduce the population of the World down from the current number of between 7 and 8 billion to 1 billion. If you noticed the experts who were quoted were from the liberal institutions such as columbia university. The fact that this was aired on national television kind of makes me think we are getting much closer to the time that this will become reality.

Exactly and quite well put!
There is fixing to be a major house cleaning to a heck of a large number of people reduction. :thumbup1: |
People will default to their level of training for a disaster of mega proportions.
>Zilch< You think you are going to bug-out because you are quick on the draw. The first 4-way stop you come to, is your last. You think it's bad now, people will simply break down and fail to negotiate something as simple as traversing a 4-way stop. Rule: Avoid civilization, it's circuitous routes, etc. |
