Bass are hitting like crazy down here. Speckled perch "crappie" hitting fairly good. Their getting close to going too bedding.
Light tackle for the crappie. My neighbor had a bass hit his crappie rig, watched his line go a full hundred yards and snap.
According to him it was a world record.
Some fishermen are liars, except for me and him and I aint to sure about him.

4Th, I would not call your neighbor a lair because probably that crappie was bait for a shark and took the line for a run before it broke. I've lost a few Grouper that way. Back
when I was a kid, I had a uncle who used to have sunday afternoon picnics that included
what they called Swamp Cabbage in Northern Pa. and it was some kind of fern. As I recall it was tasty and I liked it. Time line around 1956-58

No this was a bass Frogman. If you stop in again, we will jump in the boat and through some lines in the water.
Kinda cool having a store in my front and back yard.
Veggies out the front door, gator, deer, hogs, turtles and fish out the back.
