I'm prepared too, I have your home address :D
Yes SIR, this one pretty much says it!
Unfortunately that is the way a lot of people prepare, know who has prepared and plan to steal theirs.
Oddly enough those who plan to scavange and steal have very short life spans. Small communities band together and roving "mutant zombies" are quickly exterminated. The scavangers-thieves would likely be in a weakened condition from malnurishment and fatigue by the time they are reduced to that level making them easy pickins' for those who are prepped. So theft isn't really much of a game plan.
Talked about the same thing on another board years ago. One mans plan was to "go to the country as he had drove through the country and seen cows' pigs, goats and other animals so he was was going ther to kill something to eat". I said those belonged to someone, he said it didn't matter he had a gun and would "just take it" and I said we have guns in the country also and didn't think he would get by with just taking it. Kinda ended the conversation, but I have seen similiar ones elsewhere on the internet. I am not a farmer, but my inlaws are. Do you think I'm going to let a stranger waltz onto there farm and take some of their livestock?
I have been kidded by people saying that if there is a disaster they will come and knock on my door since I live in the country. I always smile and say fine as long as you can run faster than 2750 feet per second. I usually get a quizzical look, to which I reply, that is the speed that a bullet leaves the barrel of my AK-47. That usually ends the conversation...
Come and get mine PLEEAASSEE!! The zombies will provide moving targets as well as protein. Yes I said it! When SHTF meat is meat.
