Gunco Maniac
I roomed with an LDS family in the late 70's early 80's when I worked the coal fields near Gillette, WY. At that time, housing was hard to come by.
I paid reasonable room rent and it included three home-cooked meals a day.
Nice family, the kids were home schooled, they had a huge basement filled with frozen, canned and dry food. They did nothing to try and convert me, and other than a belief in 1800's prophets they held the same Christian beliefs as anyone you might meet.
They are proud of their food independence, but humbly want others to share in the "bounty of the lord" as my former landlady put it. I wouldn't doubt for a moment that your local LDS food store would agree to help you. Good luck!

THE 9mm ADDICT
Good to see some place,(LDS) help ones that really need it than just asking for everybody's help to put money in their own pockets.
