New Survival Site Debuts - SurvivalLife.com

Austin, TX (PRWEB) October 09, 2012

SurvivalLife.com is the newest prepper lifestyle and informational blog, and it’s operated by Absolute Rights contributor and emergency preparedness expert “Above Average” Joe. It is a non-politically biased web source geared toward the survival side of prepping.

SurvivalLife.com is providing valuable insight on a multitude of survival topics, and helping everyone from advanced preppers to campers and outdoorsmen learn as much about survival as they can. The website includes blog entries as well as product reviews, survival tips, and other additional tools and resources.

Article and blog post topics of late include “Top Ten Survival Foods That You Can Get on Your Next Grocery Trip,” and “DIY: Dried Fruit.” Readers are encouraged to comment on posts, and have already begun a back-and-forth conversation with each other and Joe, the main blogger at the site.

Joe also takes the time to give detailed survival product reviews, which can range from expensive, advanced knives and tools to everyday items found in most households. Repurposing those normal, everyday items is something “Above Average” Joe and the SurvivalLife.com team specializes in, as well as making practical, efficient, and generally inexpensive emergency preparations.

Survival e-books, often free or at a minimum price, are also reviewed on SurvivalLife.com, and Joe typically shares a download link so people can read the books themselves.

One of the biggest benefits of SurvivalLife.com is the daily subscription-based Newsletter, which regularly features a survival product review, a “Survival Tip of the Day,” and a longer-form main article that focuses on an important aspect of the prepper lifestyle. Subscriptions to the Newsletter can be obtained on the homepage, and all it requires is a valid email address.

The SurvivalLife.com website also includes an imbedded Global Alerts mapping tool, giving up-to-date emergency information from all over the world. It’s a generalized overview of emergency events all across the globe that spans back up to 30 days, ranging from natural disasters to civil unrest. Notices include earthquakes, pandemics, airplane incidents, etc. Each one is clickable for more information, and users can scan the map for disastrous incidents in their own hometown or state.

Whether readers need wilderness survival tips or strategies to plan for an urban disaster, SurvivalLife.com covers it all. Well on its way to becoming a preeminent member of the survival blog-o-sphere, SurvivalLife.com is contributing to the conversation and hopes readers do as well.

As Joe and the SurvivalLife.com team like to say, “It’s your life. Prepare to survive.”
