I use Trilux scopes on my FALs and some use them on ARs. The old tritium rods usually need to be replced but there are instructions on that available on the net. I just go with the usual AIM Points and Vortex Strikefires myself but some good reviews are out on the cheaper Sight Marks (all use batteries however). I even use a UTAC myself that is surprisingly good.

I have not bought one yet, but this Burris has caught my eye. Seems to be a good balance between cost and features. Burris has a good name as well.

They come in 3x or 5x, so two different models. Battery dies, you still have a black reticule.
