I respect and agree with alot of what all of you are saying.....Mostly what bothers me is the fact that our country is in trouble right now and some "ammo suppliers" see it as A way to line their pockets by price gauging......I believe I am about as prepared for any natural disaster as one can be.....But really natural disasters don't worry me as much as imagration does......I mean If you want to worry about something, In my opinion this is it!!......Ask yourself this...How well does the person behind the counter at your local gas station speak english???........And it is not just the station you normally go to...It is everywhere in every state.......

Price gouging is an interesting subject, I'm just curious here but if you invested in a company and its stock went up to 10 times the price you paid for it would you sell me some of that stock for only 2 times the price you paid or would you gouge me ? How about if it tanks am I going to have to cover your losses ? Or are we all responsible for our own decisions ?

Yes AK Paul, exactly. There are some Gaugers out there. But, the going price for AK ammo or 5.56 is really quite realistic for the demand and supply right now.

This country is now operated by immigrants for the most part. I would say we are on the tail end of America as we have known it. America is broke! And, the GOOBERMENT keeps putting the foreigners first in line for everything and tax the working US citizens for it all.

I believe we are at at least 11:58 on the, "CLOCK". Maybe Israel will not attack Iran for three more years? But, if they get with it right after the OBAMA talking to Iran BS fails next week, we are sitting pretty much just before midnight?

This is when the PANIC mode will set in hard. I don't need to go into all of the details of what society breaking down entails. Price Gauging will not be a problem then. EVERYTHING will be taken.

I think it,(12-O-CLOCK) is around mid July. Unless, the gooberments of the world shift a few gears here and there?

REmember Katrina. Remember how well off our nation was , before all of this economic depression anyhow..companies were prospering and the houseing market was enormous. All it took was a single hurricans to FREAK out Americans and drive the price of fuel through the roof.
FEMA was involved, La was taking guns away from people, some souther states had to shut down fueling stations for lack of fuel...just bad any way you look at it.
SO, perhaps you should think HARD about what the next natural disaster could do the the US in her present condition....
    just saying

Being prepared is important. It's not being paranoid, it is about survival and being prepared. granted most probably aren't set up for the extremes like nuclear war etc, but even being prepared for a possible katrina like event or similar is just being smart. Ammo plays a part in ones preps, but to echo others on this thread, food, water, medicines, etc are all very important.

Use "The Road" as a training manual.

Israel has been stepping up military defense exercises this week in light of things to come. I have also noticed Air Force pairs being sent up more often here in Houston. AWACS shows up over head once a week around here these days too.

Armored infantry carriers are lined up behind a fenced in yard over up North here in town close to where I now work.

    It is Awfully close folks.

Israel is prob stepping up their training because of the RECENT "activity" from Iran with missles and whatnot
