That's the one thing we don't have a lot of in South Dakota, ponds or lakes! My folks place has a dugout but the water level varies so much that fish would never have a chance.

Common chemicals like bug repelant, degreasers, automotive fluids, hand cleaner, and others. Most important in my oppinion is common salt for use and trade, at the price it costs now load up cheap, it won't be easy to get in some areas later. Sugar is pretty cheap also. I expect alot of repair and fabrication jobs for equipment that people don't want to go without so I have a good bit of consumable supplys put back. cutting and grinding wheels, welding rod, solder, wire and conectors, spare saw blades and the tools to sharpen them. The ability to make repairs is worth a great deal to many so my tools and supplys will keep me out of the fields tending crops or foraging. Also on my shelves is permethrin for treating clothing, animals, land, and buildings, as I don't expect county mosquito control to be spraying and I hate ticks, mosquitos, fleas and other pests.
