ar-15 barrel thread

Hi this may be an odd question can any one out there let me know were I can get a tap the same size as the end of the barrel were the muzzel/ flash arrester fit's this is for a pre-ban barrel, I need it to be shipped to the UK, I can't find any in the UK as we are well on the way to being all metric now. cheers Dinger
