Double Star lower???

Anyone have one or can tell me if they are a good manufacturer of lowers? Ive got a small gun shop I like to do business with and they can get me a stripped lower for $90 and that includes his transfer fee.

Double Star is a spin off company from J&T sales. J&T has been a very reputable supplier of AR kits, complete uppers and accessories for years. I would expect the same from Double Star.

Functioned flawlessly.
Now it still works that way for my brother-in-law too.

Ive ended up with a DPMS for the same price he quoted me for the DoubleStar. Have to post some pics when I get'r done. Warning: I am a gear whore so dont be surprised if this thing is loaded down with lights and lasers

I like that, I can see I need more rails on mine!

Oh and I have a few doublestars and they are very nice, the main thing I liked is I can get consective numbered ones, I don't seem to be able to do that with any other brand.

It's like the makers mix them up at the factory and make sure they send out consective ones to the same palce.

I had my FFL order two Olympic stripped lowers for me. They came through with consecutive numbers. I never even thought to ask him if that was possible, but when they came through that way, I was pleased.

WOW 7.62 that thing just needs some armor plates mounted on it and its ready for war. I wont get that intense though..lol Just a tactical light, green laser and 30mm scope. I also found a good 2 peice aluminum foregripwith built in rail for $60. Compared that to the $140 one the gunshop had it was an easy decision as to which one to buy. The rail is a KZ brand and its at botac.com, Im sure many of you are familure with the site.
