Most (if not all) of the original Colts use a .312 take down and pivot pin. All of the aftermarket ARs use .250 pins. There are adapters available to allow you to mate the two.

Thank you for the information .. well sounds like if i buy it everything works or can ... Next queston if you will if i buy it is it a bad more or a good one ...Meaning there cheaper but in the long run from all you that know will i enjoy it as my first one ... any infor will help thank you again

Sarco must be a company selling them ? this was a guy here in town bought it and wanted to sell it .... Wife wont let him have it ............ So i want to pick up on it but want to know if i can get all the parts to build it and use it not looking for a wall hanger ...... So if you know anything about them and if compatible parts are readly avalible all the help you can give i would be thankfully for ...Thank you

The story I heard on the geared down AR pictured previously was that someone at Surefire did that just to try and put "one of everything" that they sell on the rifle. Looks like it's true anyway, LOL.
