MGI Modular Lower?

Has anyone had a chance to play around with this? I think it would be neat to mod an 80% to take MGI's magwells, does anyone have a pic or dims of the interface?

i am sure you could mod a 0-80% to take AK mags. the problem is your likely to need a special bolt carrier to clear the feed lips on the AK mag.

so your going to have to make a BC as well as re do the lower for the ak mags.

it is much more simple to use the standard ar-15 lower and use the c-products mags and use a standard bolt carrier.

Well, it is actually the upper that needs relieving for the mags. And an AK lower can't then take AR15 mags, or Sten mags, or Glock 21 mags, which is the big reason to go for standardization with the MGI magwells. A 7.62X39 bolt will work with AK mags. Thanks for the suggestions though! Would still like to see a mod done to an 0%-80%.

Excellent, so just the BCG is needed. Dims and pics of the MGI rear half would be great.
