LAR blem A2 uppers

just ordered a blem A2. the price out the door was $48+$12 shipping.

i think i can use the sight parts from my el-cheapo detachable carry handle so all i'll need to finish it up will be a port cover and a forward assist. if i am lucky that is.

flattop uppers seem to be OOS at least the blemished ones.

should have it in next week. i'll report if it is a turkey or not.

I bought one around 2 years ago and I was hard pressed to find the blemish. I hope you get a nice one too!

I'll have to keep watching the site for a few flat top blems to show up.

others have said their blems were --well very good for blems.

yea i was really shopping for another flat top myself. but i haven't built an a2 for a while so this might be good for a "change" as the big O says.

got the upper today. looks very good. only thing that makes it a blem was some tool marks on the pad under the rear sight assembly. and one very hard to see tool mark just under the port.

bolt carrier fit perfect. slapped it to the dpms lower and it fit fine. no slop --tight pins.

a good deal for the money!

I seem to remember getting on a waiting list when i bought mine. When they get enough they call the list 1st.

the irony is you can get this excellent stripped a2 upper for less than a decent quality carry handle. strange ain't it?
