Default New AR build - tell me what you think

Alright I'm thinking of a new AR build.

a Gas pistol .308 M4 clone.

I've been looking for the parts and only found a few so far. I have read good things and bad things about gas piston assy. Anybody had an experience with these??

AR10 lower
16" carbine 1/10 barrel (though I would like a 14.5)
.308 flat top upper
gas piston replacement kit

What you guys think??

A really hard hitting SBR.

There is no standard gas tube for this upper?

Thumbs up Nice.

Sharp looking weapon.
How is that weapon coming along? I fired one AR in the last 30 years.
I think you said .308 cal. With that short barrel wear ear plugs.
A guy had one out at the range and if the bullet didn't hit what you were shooting at the damn blast out of those things would put the intended target into shock. Man those things are loud.
