Are the screws on the carrier key tight?

Yes, the screws are tight. I was thinking spring yesterday, so I measured the buffer spring and found it to be about 13.5 inches. I then trimmed 1.5 inches off and tried it out...same problem. I then looked at the barrel port/sight block alignment and found it not exactly centered, so I chamfered the barrel port to match the sight block shadow, but no improvements were made. Does anyone know where to get a lighter recoil/buffer spring?

I too think its either the recoil spring or the buffer and spring. one of my old Bushys did that and that was the problem.
