Angry DSA ROTTEN REPAIRS

i bought a DSA STG 58 for my 15 year old son last spring he got to use it 3 times and it stopped cycling, i went through the normal checks and couldn't figure it out so i figured best bet send it back the the manufacturer, well they recieved it 6/17/09 today is 10/26/09 i still don't have it back and when i call to ask when i might get it back i am met with anger by there customer service people and a, i really don't give a shit attitude.

i have sent a gun back to bushmaster i had it back in two weeks no charge for the repair, no charge for the shipping, and i had shipped it to them in a card board box they shipped it back to me in a brand new bushmaster rifle case, same deal with remington

DONT BUY A DSA GUN THEY WONT FIX IT IF IT BREAKS

Of course they'll fix it. Who did you talk to, and what was the final determination?

That's the great thing about the internet.

Unrealistic expectations/inexperience -> discontentment -> sign up on some website and slam the business.

It doesn't make you look smarter when your grammar and spelling are on a third grade level.

Makes me cringe when I see that and you're complaining about a gun.

You guys have a great eye for these things.

It's always been a pet peeve when someone shows up at the doorstep with whine and expects me to provide cheese and crackers.

Call and ask for Dave. He is the D in DSA. But remember, give them an attitude, expect to get one back. What kind of ammo were you using? If it is Pakastani, or Wolf that may be your issue. Both are very unpredictable.

I bought an M1 garand at a gun show from DSA arms back before they were making FAL's. I ended up going to the guys house to pick it up on a sunday. I thought he was very accommodating. I would expect that with recent events any gun manufacturer is goning to be a little slow on repair work since they are so far back logged.

Well if this part is true

"they recieved it 6/17/09 today is 10/26/09 i still don't have it back"

I wouldn't file that under unrealistic expectations. 4 months to fix a warranty situation seems ample time.

heck
when i worked at a ford dealer one could wait 6 months or better to have warranty issues on diesels due to parts availability and upgrades to faulty components-and boy were some of the customers were P.O.d!!!they make a living with there trucks!
so 4months for a weapon fix aint too bad in comparisson
