I'll have to dig it out and take a look as I don't remember.

I have four FALs that I built myself. My first build was was Imbel/Imbel with Penquin OD furniture that I painted with European OD MolyResin. I refer to it as the Green Monster. I love it.

My second was a G1 that I built from a Tapco kit with a DCI Type 1 receiver. It has never cycled properly and I think the gas block may be the culprit. I can't decide whether to fix it or cannibalize it.

My third is an Izzy clone I built, also with a DCI Type 1. It has real Izzy stock, handguards and rear sight, with an Argentine barrel and a Tapco Izzy-style charging handle.

My fourth and favorite is an Aussie L1A1 I built that I think looks and shoots really sweet. It was from a kit I got from GunThings.com with an excellent bore.

I really love my FALs, but with the price of 7.62 ammo these days I'm going to start building AKs instead. I sure to wish I'd bought ten cases of that $139 Port when I had the chance.

Oh, just to add...the scope that I used for the FAL has something loose in it. I don't know what it is but when you shake the scope you hear a rattle. I did purchase a new scope but haven't had time to shoot for zero.

Good shooting there TK. I used to have one that didn't shoot quite that good! LOL Must have been me. Imagine what you would do without that scope rattle!
