On Tuesday, April 1, the Pennsylvania House of Representatives defeated an amendment to House Bill 1845, by anti-gun State Representative David Levdansky (D-39) that would have required gun owners to report the loss or theft of a firearm to law enforcement or face criminal prosecution. By a vote of 128 to 75, the amendment was voted down!
This ones going to rear it's ugly head again somewhere else. I can't see them letting this one slip away. If you haven't yet discovered that one of your guns was lost or stolen, you could be charged with a crime for failure to report it. Translation: You are charged with a guncrime. Never to pass a nics check again. Denied. Say goodbye to your collection as they are being carted through your front door by the police.
