Anti-Gun Chicago Alderman Forgot to Re-Register His Guns
 

Chicago Alderman Richard Mell forgot to re-register his guns. No problem -- he'll just write a new law. Mell forgot to re-register the weapons as required every year by the ordinance that he helped to pass as one of the City Council's most senior members.

Classic example of liberals doing what they do best, trying to change the rules to suit THEIR personal needs. Ranks right up there with Feinstein wanting to limit gun owners rights, except hers.

Under state law in IL any elected official is exempt from gun laws. Might not be exempt from a county ordinance.

Now that is typical politician BS. Have laws to exempt themselves from their own laws? Gimmie a break.
