Postak Bill to Allow Louisianans to Carry Firearms in State Parks Rescheduled!
The original hearing scheduled for May 6 has been moved to Thursday, May 13, where the Senate Natural Resources Committee will hold a hearing on Senate Bill 534. State Senator Troy Hebert (I-22) introduced this bill which would allow possession and transportation of any lawfully-owned firearm in state parks, state historic sites, state preservation areas and other areas controlled by the Office of State Parks.
