More noise and yet another attempt to circumvent the right to bear arms from Mayor Bloomingidiot.
He as well as the other gun grabbers are very aware that the primary emphases of the Second Amendment is not hunting, nor was it's placement in the Bill of Rights by random order.
The founders of this country having faced and lived under a tyrannical government were well aware of the importance of an armed citizenry being necessary to the survival of a free people.
Bloomingidiot has stated numerous times, that the reason for the high gun violence in NYC is due to guns imported into NYC from the surrounding states with lax gun laws. (read legal purchase and possession)
The major flaw with his assertion is...if criminal gun violence is based on the availability of legally purchased guns, then by extension, wouldn't the surrounding states have criminal gun violence equal to, or greater than NYC?
To admit to the real reasons for NYC's high crime rate would be an admission of failure and would not facilitate his objective.
Just another thinly veiled attempt by an egotistical wanna be tyrannical government political that is trying to transform us from citizens to subjects.
I know I'm preaching to the choir, but it makes me feel better.
