Businesses object to bill limiting gun bans

People should legally be allowed to keep guns in their cars while on the private property of others, a House committee decided in a split vote Wednesday. The legislation pitted gun owners against the state?s businesses, some of which argued they should be able to ban employees and visitors from bringing firearms onto their property.

People have the right to defend themselves,Right?I think anyone who still has the right to have guns should have the right to have one in there car, etc. Many states have open carry, but in a car it may be a crime. What are people afrad of? It can only help to lower crime.

Addressing "rights," the businesses cited in these types of articles always claim that their rights are being taken away.

Someone please point me to the place in the Constitution and Bill of Rights where businesses have their "rights" acknowledged?

If they are that afraid of the people working for them, then they either need to treat them better or pay more attention to the workers attitudes. I guess you could hire all radical liberals that may not work, but can talk about how to do it. Probably wouldn't get a lot accomplished.
