Glendale City Councilman Rafi Manoukian is trying to exploit emotions from the Connecticut tragedy to pass an anti-gun ordinance which would only affect and penalize law-abiding firearms owners, instead of focusing on meaningful measures relating to school safety, mental health issues, marketing of violence as entertainment for our children and the collapse of federal prosecutions of violent criminals. The Glendale City Council moved its discussion and possible vote of this onerous anti-gun proposal from this week to Tuesday, January 22. We are sure this move was made in hopes of less pro-gun citizens attending the next city council meeting who would express their opposition to Manoukian's proposed anti-gun ordinance. It is critical that you attend for this city council meeting to help to stop passage of this egregious proposed anti-gun ordinance.
