Canada: Disarming the harmless doesn't reduce crime, it reduces freedom

It was predictable for anti-gun activists to surface after the Tucson tragedy of Jan. 8. Some are the same opportunists who tried blaming the attempted assassination of U.S. Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords on Sarah Palin and the Tea Party, but others aren't political. They're simply gun shy. It's a condition, I suppose, or at least a phobia, beyond the reach of reason.

The assults in Tucson were truly a tragety, and anouther tragety is now being perpitrated by the activists. They should be ashamed of themselves for using this as a sounding board for there views. I feel this is the ultimate slap in the face to the victums and there families in using this as a forum to air there views, not the place to do this. They odviously have no respect for the victums or families of this event. It just shows the narrow mindedness and depths some people will stoop to make there views heard, SHAME ON THEM!!!! I'd be real proud if I was them!!!
